Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using entryverified.com or any related services operated by EntryVerified, LLC ("EntryVerified," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

EntryVerified provides a digital platform that allows homeowners to replace traditional no-solicitation signs with QR-code signs. When a canvasser or salesperson scans the sign, they are directed to submit their contact information digitally. The homeowner receives that information and may choose to respond or ignore it at their sole discretion. EntryVerified also offers canvassers the ability to create a professional public profile accessible via a unique URL.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account or use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. Use of the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any local, state, or federal laws is prohibited.

3. Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Homeowner Terms

• You agree to provide accurate address and contact information when requesting a sign.
• Signs are provided free of charge for residential use only. Commercial or bulk requests require prior written approval from EntryVerified.
• You understand that EntryVerified does not guarantee canvasser compliance. If a canvasser ignores the sign and knocks anyway, EntryVerified is not liable.
• You agree not to use the sign or Service to harass, defame, or collect data on canvassers for unlawful purposes.
• SMS notifications are optional and you may opt out at any time.

5. Canvasser / Sales Professional Terms

• By submitting information through an EntryVerified sign, you consent to that information being shared with the homeowner who owns that sign.
• You agree to provide accurate, truthful information. Submitting false names, fake companies, or misleading information is prohibited and may result in account termination.
• Your public canvasser profile, including your name, company, bio, photo, and links, is visible to anyone with the profile URL. You are responsible for the content you upload.
• You may not upload content that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, or that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.
• EntryVerified does not guarantee that homeowners will respond to your submission.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable law
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or another user's account
• Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the Service without written consent
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code
• Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Service, including the EntryVerified name, logo, design, text, graphics, and software, is owned by or licensed to EntryVerified and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

By uploading content to your canvasser profile (such as photos, brochures, or business cards), you grant EntryVerified a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display that content solely for the purpose of operating the Service.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

ENTRYVERIFIED IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CONDUCT OF ANY CANVASSER OR HOMEOWNER, ONLINE OR OFFLINE. USE OF INFORMATION EXCHANGED THROUGH THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ENTRYVERIFIED, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

IN NO EVENT WILL ENTRYVERIFIED'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID ENTRYVERIFIED IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100).

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless EntryVerified and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

PLEASE READ THIS CAREFULLY: TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YOU WAIVE YOUR RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL AND AGREE TO RESOLVE ANY DISPUTE ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS. CLASS ACTIONS AND CLASS ARBITRATIONS ARE NOT PERMITTED.

12. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by updating the effective date and, where appropriate, by notifying you via email. Continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 7–11) will remain in effect.
